요약 : 본 연구는 OECD 26개 회원국을 중심으로 Cobb-Douglas 생산함수모형을 활용하여 FDI의 유입과 4차산업혁명관련 변수들이 

고용의 증감과 같은 노동시장의 특성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 실증적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 

기존의 많은 논의는 4차산업혁명이 노동시장의 변화에 대한 가능성에 집중하였지만, 

그럼에도 불구하고, 실증적 논의는 여전히 미비한 것으로 나타나고 있다. 

본 연구의 분석 결과, 26개 대상국가에 대해서 FDI의 유입은 제조업부문을 중심으로 고용을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났으며, 

노동의 유연성과 법적보호 수준과 같은 4차산업혁명의 핵심적인 요인들이 고용의 감소와 증가에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 

이를 통해 4차산업혁명시대에 대응하기 위한 FDI의 중요성과 노동시장의 동적 변화를 이해하고 함의를 도출하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the impact of foreign direct investment and 4th Industrial Revolution on employment in OECD 26 member countries. 

Though it is so important to discuss the impact of these two current issue, there are still few studies. 

This study uses Cobb-Douglas production function model with panel regression to analyze the impact. 

From the results, it is suggested that the FDI is significant to increase employment only in manufacturing industry. 

However, 4th Industrial Revolution factors such as legal protection and labor market flexibility have significant in all of model, 

and they have respectably positive and negative impact on employment. 

Finally, this research can be able to contribute to trace and understand the dynamic change of these issues.
