데이터사이언스 관점의 융합 R&D 특성 분석과 성과예측 모형 연구

요약 : 융합에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 국가 R&D에서도 융합연구 활성화를 위한 다양한 정책과 제도적 지원이 이루어지고 있다. 

하지만 융합연구는 학문적 측면이나 정부 차원에서 그 특성을 명확하게 구체화하지 못하고 있는 상태이다. 

따라서 본 연구는 국가과학기술지식정보서비스(NTIS)를 통해 방대한 국가 R&D 데이터를 수집하고 정제, 분석, 모델링, 검증, 시각화하는 

데이터 사이언스 관점의 국가연구개발정보 분석을 통해 융합연구에 대한 특성과 성과예측모형을 도출하였다. 

구체적으로 먼저 국가 R&D 과제 데이터의 비정형정보를 중심으로 텍스트마이닝을 통해 융합 R&D 특성을 도출하고 융합 R&D의 중심이 되는 

대표 기술을 중심으로 네트워크 분석을 통해 융합연구의 연계 구조를 파악해 보았다. 

이를 반영하여 신경망 분석을 통한 성과예측 모델의 개발 과정으로 연구를 진행하였다. 

연구를 통해 융합연구에 대한 정의와 연구현장이 인식차이를 확인할 수 있었고 이를 개선하기 위해 연구주체 간 융합, 연구자의 다양한 배경과 특성을 반영한 

연구주제간 협업, 비정형적인 정보를 활용한 융합연구 특성 분석 등을 대안으로 제시하였다.

Abstract: : There is a growing interest in convergence. National R & D is also providing various policies and institutional support to promote convergence research. 

Convergence research, however, does not clearly specify its characteristics at the academic and government levels. 

This research proceeds with the process of collecting, refining, analyzing, modeling, verifying and visualizing national R & D data through the National Science 

and Technology Information Service (NTIS). The method is to derive the convergence research characteristics and performance prediction model from the data science perspective. Specifically, convergence R & D characteristics were derived through text mining, 

focusing on the unstructured information of national R & D project data. Next, 

this research analyzed the linkage structure through network analysis centering on representative keywords. 

To reflect this, neural network analysis was used to create a performance prediction model. 

The study confirmed that there was a difference in perception between the definition of converged research and the research site. 

In order to improve this, the research suggested that convergence among research subjects, 

collaboration among research topics reflecting various backgrounds and characteristics of researchers, 

and analysis of characteristics of convergence research using information were suggested in the process of establishing convergence policy.
